Accessibility

Our commitment to making the Ruby & Curtis website clear and usable for as many people as possible.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

Using this website

We want people to be able to use this website regardless of technology, ability or circumstance. The site has been designed to support:

  • keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
  • screen readers and meaningful page structure;
  • zooming and text resizing without losing essential content;
  • responsive layouts on phones, tablets and desktop screens;
  • reduced-motion preferences; and
  • descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.

Conformance approach

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target. The website has been checked with automated tests and keyboard testing, but it has not yet received a full independent accessibility audit. We therefore do not claim full WCAG conformance at this stage.

Known limitations

Some content and controls are supplied by third parties. In particular, the YouTube player and external music and social platforms may have accessibility behaviour that we cannot control. Captions and other accessibility features for the music video depend partly on what is available through YouTube.

The site also uses large cinematic imagery. Essential information is provided as live text rather than being available only inside those images.

Tell us about a problem

If anything is difficult to use, or you need information in another format, email music@rubyandcurtis.com. Please tell us which page you were using, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing that information.

We will review accessibility feedback and aim to respond within five working days. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an accessible alternative and correct barriers within our control.

Reviewing this statement

We will review this statement when significant website changes are made and at least annually. The revision date above shows when it was last updated.
